The New Jersey Devils have officially filled out their coaching roster. At age 33, he became the NHL's youngest head coach, leading the Blackhawks to a record of 87-92-26. Besides his NHL experience, Colliton also led the Blackhawks’ AHL affiliate in Rockford and has international coaching experience in Sweden, where he coached in the second league from 2013 to 2017. Colliton's coaching prowess was also recognized on the international stage when he served as the head coach for Team Canada at the 2022 Winter Olympics, stepping in for Claude Julien due to injury. His playing career provided him with a deep understanding of the game, which he has successfully translated into his coaching career. Combining both playing and coaching experience, Colliton is considered a valuable addition to the Devils' coaching staff.
